Last summer Merle Kee transformed unique locations across the Netherlands into intimate stages for music, inspiration, and connection with her Rooftop Tour. During the tour, she not only shared pieces of her upcoming debut EP, but also her mission: to create a space where people come together, feel inspired, and dare to dream.
The tour took place at CeeCee Campus, University UT, and NIO House Amsterdam.

On the rooftop, we quite literally take distance from the world below and gain the space to reflect. Here, high above the city, we look at life from a helicopter perspective, discovering what we truly want once our feet are back on the ground. A moment to zoom out, to breathe, and then move forward again, with a fresh perspective and renewed energy.

Merle invites you on a journey where emotion meets movement. From dancing as a baby at Goa Trance festivals to travel solo to Los Angeles to chase her dream, 25-year-old Merle Kee’s life is full of adventure. She will never stop giving her all, and her faith in herself has helped her overcome stage fright and big vocal problems.

Roots & Vision
Merle grew up between Ibiza and the Dutch city of Tilburg. As an only child, her parents took her everywhere, from adult gatherings to festivals, where her love for music was born. Seeing how one artist could make a whole crowd sing, dance, and share joy sparked her dream to become a singer who does the same.
Performing her original songs on stage, playing festivals, and touring has always been her dream and is now her vision.

Her message to you: you can achieve anything if you give it your all and keep fighting for what you believe in. She built this mindset through Kyokushin karate, which she began at six. Now she hopes to inspire others to chase their dreams.
Sound & Inspiration
Merle creates colorful pop-soul music with touches of blues and funk. As a child, MTV was playing 24/7 in her parents’ bedroom, captivated by artists like Adele, Amy Winehouse, and Joss Stone - still her inspirations today.
Over time, she fell in love with blues and funk influences, from James Smith and Kaleo to Lawrence, Olivia Dean and Raye.
No matter the setting, she fills the space with warmth and connection, creating a sense of togetherness for everyone in the room. Her music and personality radiate kindness, energy, and a deep passion for sharing moments with others.
